What is DUCT?
DUCT is a self-hosted CI/CD and operations platform for AI-augmented engineers and agencies. It turns a git push, a dropped zip, or an MCP call into a live, monitored HTTPS site — handling deployment, TLS, migrations, and process management automatically.
How much does DUCT cost?
The founder plan is a flat €119/year — a one-time payment for full platform access, limited to the first 100 users. Unlike per-dyno or usage-based platforms, the price is flat no matter how many apps you run.
Where does DUCT deploy my apps?
To your own DigitalOcean droplet. You own the infrastructure and the data. DUCT provisions nginx, Let's Encrypt TLS, systemd services, and runs your Postgres migrations automatically.
What frameworks does DUCT support?
Django with Postgres, Celery, and Redis today. React, Next.js, and React Native are on the roadmap — the same push-to-live experience for your frontend and mobile apps.
Can I deploy using AI?
Yes. DUCT is MCP-native, so Claude can deploy your code, run diagnostics, and roll back directly from a conversation — one of the first CI/CD platforms built for AI-assisted operations.
Is DUCT secure?
DUCT applies standard hardening: HTTPS with HSTS, secure cookies, phone-based auth with SMS verification, rate limiting, and anti-VPN protection. As with any self-hosted tool, a professional penetration test and infrastructure-level protections remain the operator's responsibility.
How is DUCT different from Heroku or Railway?
Managed platforms run your app on their infrastructure with usage-based pricing. DUCT deploys to your own server with flat annual pricing, and adds fleet-level features: revenue tracking, status pages, and an operator scoring arena. Push-to-live convenience, with ownership and predictable cost.
